Victim Advocacy
SOC provides free advocacy and referral services to victims of college campus crime including homicide, sexual assault, and hazing. SOC is a clearinghouse of information for victims and their families regarding Clery Act compliance and Title IX guidelines. We do not provide crisis counseling but can offer referrals for victims nationwide.
Through our resources, our staff is committed to empowering students, student victims, and parents to learn about the unique rights afforded to students on college campuses. Furthermore, we provide outreach and training to educate college campus community members about prevention services, collaboration techniques, and how to raise awareness on campus about campus crime.
Please call 1-888-251-7959 with any questions.
We do not have a 24-hour hotline. If this is a true emergency, please call you local law enforcement, campus police, or 911.
Note: Security on Campus does not provide counseling or other legal services to victims of campus crime. This Victim Advocacy Page is provided as a public service to facilitate connections between victims and service providers who have made themselves known to SOC.
