The Jeanne Clery Act: A Collaborative Approach to Compliance

The Jeanne Clery Act: A Collaborative Approach to Compliance is the most comprehensive instruction to date about all things Clery! This 10 hour course was funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime and was developed and is taught by the country's top Clery Act experts.

The course is divided into four main modules:

  1. Collecting, Classifying and Counting Crime Data
  2. Ongoing Disclosure Requirements
  3. Victim Support Services and Security Programs
  4. Annual Security Report

Put your collaborative team together and attend one of our seminars. Your team should include:

  • Student Affairs Administrators
  • Campus Law Enforcement or Dept. of Public Safety Personnel
  • Campus Based Victim Service Providers and Violence Prevention Program Personnel
  • Legal Counsel/Compliance Officers
  • Other Safety Professionals

Sessions will be presented by a multi-disciplinary team approach and will cover:

  • Crime victim assistance and sexual assault policies
  • Counting, collecting and classifying crime statistics
  • Ongoing reporting through timely warnings and a public crime log
  • Preparation and dissemination of the institution’s Annual Security Report
  • Prevailing promising practices
  • Building and developing collaborative partnerships

All sessions will be fun and interactive and provide seminar participants with opportunities to network and share ideas and expertise with others in the field.
